Workshop #3: BUSINESS - Mallorca Digital Hospitality Program

Dynasoft is delighted to be able to participate in the first edition of the Mallorca Digital Hospitality Program. This is a PIONEERING, INNOVATIVE and UNIQUE initiative which aims to help digitally transform the productive tourism business fabric of Mallorca with the aim of improving the customer experience and operationally improve the management of tourism assets through digitisation.

After the presentation on Thursday 9th February; the first workshop on 23rd February, which focused on back-office management, sustainability and communication; the second workshop, in which we focused on the Guest Experience, it was finally Dynasoft's turn in the third workshop, which focused on business.

In this case, the session focused on how technology can help us to improve and optimise financial control, through leading solutions in the sector and successful cases of the application of this technology in hotel establishments.

In his speech, our CEO Toni Moll López, stated that "technology does not help you to cover a need, it is a need to reach future generations that are 100% digital". He also delved into 2 key concepts: how to approach new technologies and IT infrastructures from a financial and accounting point of view, delving into concepts that are sometimes so ambiguous from a financial point of view such as SaaS solutions or Cloud environments and how to deal with them in our accounting; or how our old NAVISION has been reinvented to become the powerful and versatile tool that is Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. By way of example, the IT Director of Hotels & Resorts Blue Sea, S.L., Miguel Frau Segura, explained how they are using these financial control tools in their hotels, and how the decision to make the leap from their old NAV has opened the door to such powerful integrations as EisiSoft's CMMS or EMBAT's treasury solutions.

For his part, Jose Maria Ramon Cardona, CEO of Neobookings, explained that his channel manager helps to boost direct sales, operations, implement digital marketing actions and monitors the analysis of rates to adapt them to demand. On this occasion he was accompanied by Aina Salas, director of @Hotel Son Sant Jordi, who has been working with the technology for 12 years and explained the advantages of a service like this for a smaller, family hotel, in order to achieve maximum revenue.

The last presentation was led by Userguest's technology consultant, Cristina Blaj, who presented how this platform uses intelligent algorithms to show personalised notifications to each web user to complete their booking and is compatible with all engines. Her success story was presented by Martín Aleixandre Contelles, CCO of Fuerte Hoteles.
