FITUR 2023, Dynasoft visits its most strategic customers and partners

FITUR's commitment to maintaining its presence during the two years of the pandemic as the only active meeting point in Europe, together with the favourable evolution of the figures for the national and international tourism industry in recent months, has allowed us to consolidate a significant growth of the Fair, approaching the record edition of FITUR held in 2020: 8,500 participating companies, 131 countries, 755 exhibitors and nearly 222,000 attendees; among them, our CEO, Toni Moll and our commercial director, Nacho Rossich who have been able to live the experience firsthand.

Many clients and partners have been present at FITUR, both as exhibitors and visitors; a situation that we have taken advantage of to make strategic visits, and to meet in person many of our daily contacts, who due to COVID and new technologies, we only met via video call.

We started early in the morning, at 9:30 we were already inside the venue. Our first meeting was with Mar and Jaime from the IT Travel - AvorisTech team, with whom we are working closely on the development of a front-end solution for travel agencies. They are old acquaintances from the islands, but sometimes fate is capricious, and to see your neighbour you have to go to Madrid.

On our way to the Hoteles Santos stand we passed by OK Mobility, where we met Paco Muñoz, financial director of the group's Industry sector. With OK we are in the process of implementing Dynamics NAV solutions such as Continia's Document Capture or our approvals manager, Dynasoft Approvals. We took the oportunity to talk about the progress of the project while having some coffee.

At Hoteles Santos we had the opportunity to meet Pilar García, CTO of the organisation. They are immersed in a technological renovation project implementing Microsoft 365 solutions. Again, we told them that we are willing to collaborate with them, and we valued different ways, such as our integration gateway between Business Central and most of the PMS on the market.

From Santos we moved on to Hall 8, where most of the stands of the technology partners were located for another obligatory visit: Ofimática.es, with whom we have already collaborated in the past and with whom we hope to be able to work in the future. OFI has a very powerful and complete suite of its own products for business management, and they are of our own stock, people committed to their clients and with a clear vocation for service.

Many of our partners and collaborating companies were exhibiting in this pavilion, among which the following stand out: EisiSoft, with Xavi López and Jose Carrillo at the helm; Sereníssima, with whom we collaborate with several hotel chains thanks to Quim Gómez and Marc Llobet; Delta Informática, with its identity document scanning solutions, Sihot, where we greeted Sonia Delgado, and of course, Alvaro Badillo from Climbea, a real phenomenon, who took the opportunity to introduce us to Luis and Rosa from LaMarina, with whom we hope to participate in the future.

And in this coming and going of people we took the opportunity to have a quick bite to eat, and on the way we met several good friends and clients. The big surprise was to be able to greet Enrique Martín and Carlos Otero from Arsys, who took advantage of the day to greet several of their clients. On the way to the Balearic Islands stand we met Miquel Àngel Daniel, CTO of Mar Hotels, one of our first clients. He was at FITUR to test the market for IT solutions and we took the opportunity to talk about the imminent migration to Business Central SaaS.

In pavilion 7 and 9 we took the opportunity to visit the Canary Islands stand, where we were able to talk to the sales team of SERVATUR, one of our oldest clients and with whom we are in the process of updating the ERP, and with Francisco Quintero from LANDMAR hotels, with whom we hope to collaborate in the future.

And from the fortunate islands we went to the "Ses Nostres Roquetes" pavilion, where we met Joan Socias from JS Hotels, our flagship client in the north of the island. We took the opportunity to exchange impressions about the imminent opening of Palma Plaza, the group's first urban establishment. We met up with old acquaintances, such as Victor Sanchez from Hotetec, Marian Ruiz from Dataria, or Arancha Pons from SunHotels. Lots of hugs, lots of exchanging of cards and lots of catching up.

At this same stand we met Antonio Rami, who leads the KANTOX project, a solution that will revolutionise the way in which companies deal with currency transactions; a start-up that we at Dynasoft have decided to support.

In the afternoon we returned to Hall 8, where we met Javier Marí from Insotel / Grupo Alonso Marí. One of our most loyal customers, which we have helped in integration processes between its various operational tools to centralise all its accounting in the ERP, which has allowed them to continue growing in an orderly manner and based on real and contrasted information on the state of the organisation.

Our last, but not least, visit was to Voxel, where Hector and Cristina were waiting for us with a strong coffee and a plate of jellybeans, which, after the day's hard work, was much appreciated. Voxel is an old acquaintance of ours, a very powerful player in the tourism and distribution market with whom we have come across a thousand times, but with whom we have hardly collaborated directly. Hector and Cristina explained to us what's new in the sector, what the implications of the new digital invoicing law being prepared by the government will be and what advantages Voxel offers in the management of company purchases and payments.

And we couldn't say goodbye to FITUR without a good party, this time with one of our most important clients. Toni Moll had the opportunity to share a table with W2M at the party they held at the old northern station. He enjoyed the live music of Loquillo (a Spanish well-known singer) and had the chance to share laughs and good times with Joan Barceló and Gabriel Subías, CIO and CEO of the organisation. It wasn't all about working!

About this 2023 edition of FITUR... we are deeply proud to have been able to participate in an event of this size and worldwide recognition. We return with a lot of homework to do and a great desire to continue growing at the pace of the sector. We sense that tourism and the economy are facing a phase of growth, which is a strong motivation for us and pushes us to undertake new projects.

We thank our clients and collaborators for their trust and loyalty, and we promise to continue to do our utmost to be always on the cutting edge of the IT market, both technical and operational, with a single objective: to give the best service to our clients, to improve day by day and to continue to grow together.
