The VERIFACTU Mess. Business Central vs. the Anti-Fraud Law: Are You Compliant or Getting Fined?
Microsoft is exploring a native integration of VERIFACTU within Business Central, with an unconfirmed target date of January 1, 2026. The final decision will depend on regulatory clarity expected by October 2025
What’s happening with VERIFACTU and Business Central?
As part of compliance with the Spanish Anti-Fraud Law (Law 11/2021) and Royal Decree 1007/2023, software providers — yes, including us — must submit a responsible declaration before July 29, 2025. Although the regulation is already in effect, there are still technical details under review, especially for companies and ERP systems.
Microsoft has expressed its strong commitment to follow official guidelines and ensure that Dynamics 365 Business Central meets all certification requirements on time. Updates will arrive as usual: through standard product release cycles. Additionally, a possible native integration of VERIFACTU within Business Central is being explored. The target date? January 1, 2026. But note: this plan is not yet confirmed. Everything depends on clarification of certain aspects of the electronic document framework, which is expected by October 2025.
